Ivan Čkonjević (Novi Sad / Subotica)
Ivan is a solo artist, guitar player and composer whose music is described as ‘soundtracks for movies yet to be made’. His sound relates to the genres of post-rock / experimental / drone music. He is into collaborative work with many other audio and video artists, performing often with many guest musicians, with many shows and releases behind. Besides playing solo, he is the leader of “Orkestar Gradovi Utocista” (The Cities of Refuge Orchestra) – a unique form of acoustic alternative folk music. He is one of the founding members of KNAP music collective from Novi Sad, and the program manager of IMPROSTOR – improvised music events.
